hey guys,
i have been thinking about this for a long time.
what is the diff between EFI and Carb cam?
will EFI cam work on carb?
if there is a diff, what kind performance gain do you think it will give?
thanks a lot.

I think that the EFI cam has more lift. not sure tough

Do it and if your car explodes, let everyone know. :D

This is just my useless opinion but I don't think there is a better or worse. I think they just ground it different from the factory because carbs run well certain specs and EFI has different specs they like. So I guess my point is, I don't think they purposely made a crappier performing cam for the carbed. Any corrections to my useless opinion is welcome.

i looked at chilton's manual and it does say that EFI cam has bigger lift.
correct me if i am wrong, but if it has bigger lift it will open valves deeper, am i right?

the higher the lift the more the valves will open.
the higher the duration the longer the valves stay open.
