View Full Version : Completely Random Rant about my car

This past month has been generally the busiest month I've ever had in my life. I've been all over the place, and my car has taken it with class.

I drove over 300 miles today without a problem or care in the world, and to me, that is downright impressive for a car of this age. I can't believe how smooth this car drives at 80-85. I have no problem keeping up with traffic, and I feel like my car drives better on the highway than both of my brothers' cars (1995 Maxima and 2003 Civic Si). To top that, I drove on the same tank of gas for 2 weeks after driving 300 miles in one day. Simply put, I love my car and see no reason to get rid of it. Completely random, but I felt this was necessary.

Well I don't see that being much as a rant, it's more of a Why I love my car Speech, But I love your car too, so

this is a rave not a rant .. lol
this is good to hear, I am about to do this same thing in a few days, I need to go out of town and the gas prices are making me think I should take the old all original 86 DX @40 mpg instead the f150 @20 mpg
Miles can fool you sometimes, I put 300 miles on a car just going to work two weeks, or when I used to cruise.. cruising all the metro in one night I can put 200 miles or so and burn up a tank of gas in a V8 V6 car.

Rant, Rave.....whatever. I DO love my car, even if it looked like shit. And I can't help but love it, its been 19 reliable years since we bought it. I don't believe that I saw any car older than mine on the 100 mile drive back to school from home, and I have the oldest car in the parking lot right now.

lol, good stuff. My 3g accord when i had it used to see 400-500 miles a week, never really gave me too much trouble. Drove it to over 250k miles.

My CB7 gets driven 350-400 miles a week in town (I deliver Pizza lol)... and it's auto... hasn't complained yet! Runs like a champ. The civic was the same, but i don't drive it for work anymore.
