got an 87 honda accord here, had it in the shop because it wouldnt start, the fuel pump and distributor have both been replaced and still no start.
fuel pump relay is good, as well all the fuses
car runs when ether or carb cleaner is sprayed into intake but cannot get injector pulse without ether or carb cleaner
any ideas?

main relay? when you first turn the key to ignition, do you hear 2 clicks from behind the dash, in between those 2 clicks do you hear the fuel pump priming?

Do you have any codes from the ECU?
If your sure the main relay is good, both sides, and no codes I would start looking for problem with the ECU or the crank angle sensor in the distributor.
I would also try moving the distibutor when cranking the car the timing may be very far off.
