Let me search some more, ok there is a bolt on solenoid for the Holley 5200 weber twin, but I think it closes instead of opens the throttle. There are lots of solenoids that would adapt but you need to access an old parts book by manufactors such as napa, carquest etc. and look it up by part description not by vehicle.

It may be possible to use the vacuum solenoid off the OEM carb, and borrow one of the 12v vacuum switches not being used anymore under the hood.

Holy shit I forgot about that post LOL

The car sat for 2 years while I played with my Supra instead ;)

That said, still looking for one, obviously.

Yeah, you need a solenoid that can kick the idle up when the AC turns on. Unless you can find an OEM application that had this you will probably have to rig up your own.

if you have cruise i would think there must be a way to send a low vaccume signal to the cruise unit. this would open the throttle slightly at idle.

that is a thought, there are several voltage controled vaccuum swtiches /servos you could salvage from the oem set up.
I would take some engeneering, minor.
