Make sure you ground that bolt hole. I worked for a company that made the coil over plug, (cop) coils. The Toyota coils have igniters built in and the Chryslers do not. I am unsure of the Nissans. You might also want to find some way of mounting the coil so that they dont "pop" off the plug. Most have springs inside to touch the plug top.

am goin to weld some wee lugs on to the cam cover so the coils can be bolted on like on the nissan its off.
the coil is on as far as it will go and thegap between the coil and cam caver is only a few mm so those coils almost seem like they were made for the job eh
the ecu i'm going to use has independant coil driver channels and what not so running them will be no probs at all.
think am goin to use the fact dizzy pick up for the trigger for the ecu and the fact cas to tell the ecu where in the crank is.
should be able to get away without having to run seperate cas set up that way
other wise i have a subie cas and will use the flywheel for reference points
cheers a18a for sticking the pics up
bloody good of you mate
oh yeah, as for the quads, use blacktop injectors, theyare about 280/300 cc or if you want bigger a set off a 3sgte are round 350/400cc but they have to be off one of the last of the mr2 turbos

for what i'm doing, a distributor is going to be fine, and i dont have the money now after going the itb route.
maybe oneday when i rebuild the motor with more go fast bits i'll look at it.
but honda ignition is pretty bloody good so prob wont be much advantage going coil on plug
