Help! Oil!

ok i know this is on here somewhere but i need the answer quick.... when changing my oil on the honda how much oil should i put in there?

4 to 4.5 is what I used last oil change

I usually use about 4.

Mine held 4 1/4 quarts when I put my new engine in.

thanks.. i just did what i thought was right... i just put about three and let it drain into the pan and then kept checking it on the dipstick to see how much i needed... thanks again

yeah i do that to put 3 in drive for a day check it the next day and add more

why do you wait that long?


Ive always filled it up to the top line on the dipstick.


Started the car and waited for the oil pressure light to go out.


Rechecked and added as needed.
