Well I feel happy the I found this site because I was thinking sell my honda because well is old and is not in like integras or civics. I was thinking buy one of those but now I want to be different. So I decide to keep my honda accord 1987 and do a engine swap and restore it. Which I think I can get the help here. This my 3rd honda the I have own. But this is the oldest. I hope it will be easy and worth thanks...

Welcome. What type of engine swap are you going to do? It is not easy on these cars.

Well I'm thinking in between JDM H22A DOHC V-Tec 92-95 or a JDM F22B DOHC 92-95.
And I know it will probadly hard or close to imposible but I used to have a1991 Accord with 1992 Prelude Si engine and I know that was easy. But why not on this model, plus one of my friends in PR have a 1996 Civic Hatch with a JDM H23.

big dif between the the 4th gen accord and the 3rd
4th gens take h22s real easy the only motor we have that will bolt in is the jdm b20a from a 3rd gen accord everything else will need custom mounts and everything else your better off trying a b swap instead of a f or h

I found a JDM B20b from A CRV for about close to @ $1,000.00 with LSD on Ebay with between 40 to 65k on engine. Its sounds like a nice deal or not?

It can be done, but it wont be bolt on. You will need to make mounts, linkages, axles, and wiring harness.

Ok forget about it the engine swap, my new idea is well kinda cheap too but well lets see. Is I found in a junkyard close to my place the have a 86 LX-i so I was thinking if I remove and buy the head with the whole intake and throttle body, injectors, wires and all the hardware the I will need to remove and make my car PGM injection. How hard is that? Plus rebuild my engine with new valves, cam, pulleys, lifters etc. But my question is the car is automatic, so I need to make my car auto or I can keep it 5 manual? Thanks any suggestions, tips etc will be appreciated...
