Cruise button & blank

How do you remove the cruise button and/or the blank next to it? I'm making a garage door opener button for the car, I want to remove that blank so I can mount the switch. Wasn't sure if it prys out or I have to drop the lower dash and unscrew something.

if you pop out the coin tray you should be able to reach under the dash and push them out
