lil to big lol stay in the 15-16 range
17's are big but you can do it if you lower the car just right, dont make the mistake I did and go 17's without lowering

What is the reason to lowering it with 17's?
Would I see a decrease in power from the oversized setup? I'm looking for something good for the track that also looks good, and I am about to wrap my 14" Mag 5 spokes with $73(EACH) tires.

Cool... There are some Rota Star aluminum 15's for sale for like $75 OBO! I think I sent him a message to see if he still has them.

I just sold my 17s because they were too big (came with the car). Pretty much the only tire size I could run with 17s was 205/40R17. They handled great but the ride was horrible (rough like you can't believe). So I sold then and found some 15s used with 195/55R15 Falkens. When they wear out I'll get some 205/50R15s. Lots of tires available in that size, and they aren't as expensive as 17s.

I got 195/60's on mine and it matches my speedo. 105 is easy to reach and I am afraid if I go to a 205, I will loose my acceloration (which is really nice compared to many other cars around)

i went from 205/50/15 to 205/50/16 with rota slips....and the car feels a bit slower and my rims only weigh 14 pounds

Hmm
I just got the Rota's. I think they are 10 years old or better and they got some really bald 205's on them. The ride quality is a LOT better. 100 feels very smooth and I can get to 110 pretty easy. I think I am gonna get a pair of tires in the next week or so.

lol! I wish I had a camera. I think they look sweet on this thing, but I have no way of showing it.
My dad thinks the mags look better (cuz he is pro-chrome and they are more shiney than the new ones) but it looks pretty nice.

I think I am either going to paint them rally white or flake blue.

yeah those are nice, they remind me of the borbet ones.
i would keep that original color and clean them up well, i think white would be too much

Borbet? What borbet? lol
I think the original color is ugly. I want something different, and I picked a blue theme a long time ago.
