This topic has come up many times and I think it would be a good idea to make this thread a sticky so that it can be accessed easily. I have a lot of possible spoilers that I think will fit the hatch. Some are confirmed and some uncomfirmed. Everyone can pitch in their feedback on what spoilers will work and not work and what spoilers look the best.. I'll start off with some I like. Note: The removal of the back wiper is necessary for some spoilers to fit on the hatch.

1.88-91 prelude Oem spoiler (Confirmed) I have one of these and it fits perfect. The rear wiper has to be removed though

i would love to see wht the lude one looks like on your hatch
i kinda like the shape of the mazda one

i think the Mazda one is too narrow. Our cars are fairly wide, and with the smaller Mazda, and the fact that it's only on the trunk, I'm guessing that'd look like poop.

I have that same Prelude spoiler (at least I think it's that spoiler) in my garage right now. I snagged it b/c I wanted to put it on my hatch, but have decided against it. It does look damn good on the hatch though.

I kind of like the natural shape of the 3rd gen accord hatchback, any spoiler that does not take away from that would be the one.

I gotta be honest, that is blah blah blah when you start actually talking functionality of FWD spoilers. It is all about styling to me on these kind of cars. That one picture of Catalyst's car made me recognize the hatches and I love the contour of them esp with good paint. That picture is really sexy :flash:
I like the Fiero spoiler too but I would have to see it on the car, the risers may be a wee bit high.

I too just like the plain - no spoiler rear end on the hatches, just flows really well IMO.

Thanks Roodoo for the compliment.

Yeah you're right. I actually have the mazda 6 spoiler too. Just haven't decided which one to put on yet:dunno:
This one will work too. The clear led attracted me to this one

I think a smallish wing would really look good on a hatch, like the 90-93 integras. Especially on a kitted hatch like mine. Again I repeat smallish. The prelude spoiler looked perfect when I put it on the hatch. Im gonna get a hatch lid from the junkyard and mount it to see how it looks. That one and the Mazda 626 spoiler also

duh, I'm a moron. I'm pretty sure i still have a spare hatch deck available. ...and I think I have that same Prelude spoiler (I know i have a spoiler, but only about 95% positive it's the 'lude one). I think I'll do that same and pic pic pic.

Thanks for making me feel stupid for not thinking of that myself.:toilet:

Can someone please made this thread a sticky? As I see more spoilers that would fit the hatch and confirm some that I already have it will be a lot easier to update this than digging through threads to find it:) Thanks

I'm not opposed to sticky'ing a thread on spoilers, but let's use this thread as a brainstorming and testing thread for them until we determine what will fit, and with what amount of modification for each.

Once we do that, and can come up with pics of each spoiler, especially mounted to a 3G, that would make it that much of a cleaner thread.

For now, we'll just have to keep chasing it down until we get a good amount of known good applications.

if anything i liek the way the hatch looks with its oem look , only thing that might looks ok with it is something like the older buick g-body spoiler or a 240z one , or anything thats more of a deck that extends only off the back

Acura TL spoiler (unconfirmed)

That TL spoiler looks like it might mount up of its long enough. The hatch has a pretty wide rear end. ( no jokes please :) )

Im gonna add that you can make anything fit if its close to the right dimensions by modyfying the mounting locations. I have never seen a spoiler that looked ok on a hatch without modifying it somehow.

Heres a midwing for the hatch.

Just Fab a minimalistic lip that curves up somewhat similiar to the LS1 SS camaro. not as extreme though :)

anyone that has some fiberglass experience should tackle this project.

if ya build it, I may buy another 3geeeeeee. (Gas is expensive)
