It's a bumper pole switch......

Bumper pole is so you can see exactly where the corner of the car is when you're parking. Parking is a little bit tighter in Japan. Something about 26 million people in tokyo alone.

seems like a bumper pole would be more handy in the back than in the front

guy also has a jdm fog switch for sale and a map light

You can take a piece of primary wire and back tap it into a spark wire, run it into the cab and strip the end of it off. Stick it in the back of the seat where it sticks out barely between the seat back and bottom, watch the passenger squrim when you crank er up. That may not accomplish your goal though :burn:
