Yes, but its not going to do anything for you. The fuel pressure on a carb car just fills the bowl, as long as it fills the bowl then everything is fine. You up the pressure a little bit and it will keep on filling the bowl just as before. You up the pressure too much and the needle valve won't be able to stop the flow when the bolwl is full and your going to flood.

Just don't get a Dail in FPR. they lock up and shut off fuel flow @ hige rpms.
Spectre
Purolator
are common dial in fprs.

I tried one... despite what anyones says. The stock keihin sees an improvement in throttle response... 3.5 - 4.0 psi
@ 4.5 psi or higher it will just cause the dial in fpr to lock up quicker.

in either case I saw a 3.0 - 12.0 psi fpr made by summit racing.
it has the option of being a 2 port or a 3 port.

While were on the topic of adjustable fuel press regulators, can having one put more stress on the pump. Does the regulator just hold back the fuel till it reaches a desired pressure then lets it thru ( correct me if i'm wrong ). If so would that not stress the pump more ? thanx for any info

it would stress the pump if the pump puts out excess pressure... like a 10 psi pump with a 3.5 psi regulated pressure... you would need to have a fuel return line to the fuel tank to bleed off the excess.

I'm not sure if the stock pump even reaches 3.5psi
