allright so my 87 lxi- (auto trans) threw a code 12, noted for the egr system . checked the valve for vac. and it holds, checked the vac lines and they were not blocked , now im looking through the black mystery box and checked the white plastic saucer looking valve with a vac gauge everything is fine with that, now that leads to the solenoids , im seeing alot of stuff about the cvc /egr solenoids , anyone have a picture of this? also i went to a pick and pull and got another black box, from a 86-87 lxi hatchie with a manual trans. only thing i see different in that box is i think the manual one has a single solenoid (hence why the far left connector of the box has 4 pins rather than 5 that my stock one has) is that the solenoid im looknig to replace? the current one i have in the car is two cylinders rather than the manual one that has only one
