ok so some of u might have read a post my brother put up about me running his 88 lx accord though a wall, i know stupid :slap: but eny way now i need to replace his bumpers that got damged but i not to sure how to get them off so just wondering if someone could give me a step by step on geting them off (rear buper is most important)also just wondering about the turn signal the two signals on the front of the car are diffent(was like this when we got the car) so we picked up a new one to replace the ugly bulky orange light but when we too it off the socket was diffent, have eny idea on how to switch it back

heres a pic of the turn signals the driver side is the good one(u can probley tell lol)

1.) remove signals via 2 (1 each) screws visible from below

2.) remove 4 bolts securing the bumper support to the car

remember that the 86-87 bumper is different than the 88-89 that you have on your car

that passenger side signal is from an 86-87, hence it does not fit correctly

for front bumper there's 4 bolts behind the turn signals and two more under the car

then you slide it off of the tab things near the wheels

not sure bout rear bumper

ok thanks for the info but about the turn signal we have a new one to replace the one from the 86-87. but the wires just plug into the blinker assembly for the 86-87 blinker and then the bulb gose into the assembly but for the 88-89 blinker it looks like the wires sould go straight into the bulb :dunno: so idno how to fix it

go to tthe junkyard and get a socket from a 88-89 and cut the 86-87 plug off and wire the new socket in :)
