as the title states im new to hondas {except for general repairs}, as my previous project cars have been a 83 nissan maxima wagon {2.8 l6 stroked to 3.1 with triple side draft webers 300z trans, rearend/suspension and front suspension} and a 87 200sx {RB26 swap with skyline trans, 300z rear carrier/gear set.}

hope to learn a few things about these hondas here.

forgot to mention, picked up my 87 accord from a family member {im thrid known owner} when they got a 4g.
to the best of my knowledge it has 250k orginal miles on the long block and running gear. no major problems, though i had to replace the water pump and unfreeze the rear self adjusters.

plans for this old girl are as follows.......
Weber 32/36 {found someone that can order loacaly :) }
rear disk brakes
front driiled/slotted rotors {and upgrade calipers if i can pull it}
front and rear sway bars
1.75 springs from intrax, i havent found the shock/stuts i want yet
subframe connetors {hand made}
6 point roll cage {for ridgety}
header/high flow cat/cat back {prefer quite setup with cutouts for the sleeper effect but we shall see}
head port and polish
short block stregthing/bluepright/high speed balance/H-beam rods {if can be found}
Wet nitrous kit, 150 shot kit max
and no body work unless it has to have it to be safe, i like to hide till i strike.

thanks, and those were all RWD cars. i dont have much experince with FWD except for keeping them going. and im intrested in seeing if i can build good power with the a20 plus its been awhile since my last carbed car..... so injection has taken a back seat for awhile.

wish i had pics/vids of them, but that been a few years ago. just the maxima project was over 9 years ago, both cars are resting in the grave, the maxima had a dash fire {something electrical} so i parted that one out to a friend with a 280z. the 200sx/s12 i hit the wall doing 110. it was so bad that i could never get it to drive straight again. ended up parting out the drive train and rear suspension, front was shot.
