Hey guys, i just purchased an engine stand from a pawn shop for 24 bucks..its very similar to the 700lb engine stand at Harbor Tools..Im having a problem figuring out how to bolt the damn block up to the stand. There are like for bolt looking things sticking out of the engine stand but they dont fit in any hole in the block..oh and the engine i want to put on it is a ..A20A1.with no trans hooked up to it..so if anyone knows how can you please tell me...thanks

Loosen up the bolts on the arms so they can move freely, put bolts into the block, then tighten everything up.

sometimes you have to make some adapters with flat bar to fit import engines on generic stands

He should be able to bolt it up without adaptors if it's the type Harbor freight sells.
Here's a shot of the rear of my engine on the stand
