Nope, it's probably not JDM.

It is kinda rare though. I've seen those in the auto boneyards around here in Ohio a few times but never that well preserved. Usually they are broken already because it seems to be a fairly weak design. If ya lean on it wrong you'll break the plastic or strip the screws.

Most of the ones I've seen have cracked/broken around the front 2 screw holes on the base, and the 2 rear screws holding the top compartment onto the tower.

That's the OEM add-on armrest. If you have the one-piece armrest, then keep it.

That console isn't from a JDM car. IIRC, all RHD cars have a different center console.

The EDM and JDM cars have the E-Brake offset from the center console. This Armrest isn't JDM. I have one that's exactly the same here and found it in a junkyard.

Looks just like the armrest in the 2geez. I bought mine thinking it was "JDM" because I'd never seen it before, and what a POS it is. Seems very un-Honda if you ask me. I got a really nice 2g Prelude armrest I'll be modifying to work.

i think that was just an option on the carb model cars cuz the lx-i and se-i got the full armrest that are stronger

i have an se-i arm rest. its pretty sturdy compared to the one first pictured. i wish i had scooped up all the arm rests i've seen in the past. but when i got mine i just went over them like they were common. next time i see one i'll be sure to get it though.
