has anyone used one on a A20? does the flange require work to fit?

they are supposed to be the same, want one?? a B20A jdm manifold Im not gonna use :)

they bolt on, they might have some small differences like being EGRless or something, but would still work

this is the manifold with secondaries and such? i would imagine it would help a little

Yep. I used my A20 manifold on my B20A
