So Ive got 2 JDM B20a engines and 1 5 speed trans with a lsd. Ive got a ton of parts and such bt Ive also got a super low mileage B18c with vtec. Im wondering if I should sell the b20as and use all the turbo stuff for the gsr. I think Im not sure. What do you guys think. I know if I sold the b20a engines and trans I could biuld one hell of a gsr turbo project. Help me make up my mind.. This must be what happens when you accumulate too many accord parts?

I'd build the GSR. You'll have a lot more opportunities with a b18c. Real strong motors as well.

Oh and you get VTAK that makes it that much sweeter. lol.

Won't be the only two B20As in the state for long. Two B20As with 5-speeds will be arriving at my door soon, if the artist formerly known as Wohdog and 3gCVC get the crate finished up soon...

I say go for the B20A build if you like the old-schoolness of it and enjoy making people go WTF when you pwn them without VTAK. If you want easy performance parts, or a nutty 600whp build, go with the GSR motor.

Personally, I think the B20As are far cooler, but a bigger PITA probably. But I enjoy the shit that is a PITA. Ask me how many redneck's houses I had to go to, pulling parts from motors that were sitting out in the woods, cars infested with bugs, damp and moldy... multiple junkyards in the rain just to put a 5-speed in my 81. Not to mention 8 hour trips to Canada pulling parts at 6am using a tractor to lift the front of the car to get the exhaust manifold off. :D

You are in the same boat as myself but im keeping my B20A alive because i didn't get to enjoy it long enough. I have PRI mounts but those will be for a far future project or i will sell them.

Obviously doing a GSR would be easier but then again you have everything you need to do the B20A. I could have a sick B-Series in my car with what i have spent but no turning back. I did get some attention at a Honda-Tech meet back in 2005 when it was turboed.

Plus all the mystery work has been mapped out with the B20A so you could probably get yours going relatively easy if you get a tuner that is profficient with honda's.

i remember doing that a lot with my 78 civic as well. There was nothing worse than driving for 3 hours to see a projects car rotting the bushes with nothing for me but rust. a waste of gas and time and not to mention a weekend down the drain.

So it seems the b20a is proceeding as planned but ill be looking for a second coupe or hatch for a turboed gsr swap.

thats funny you mention that , it happens to me like that sometimes. Ive been way out in the boonies to look at a car and get there to find a crashed rusted hull with chickens living in it.
Last one was a 96 accord about six months ago :kekeke:
Once you see one of those in that condtion you realize how big a POS they are and appreciate the 3rd gens all the more:my opinion anyway...
