i got my car repainted turned out lookin good he put the stripes on the top this time.He also filled hole for antenna in and filled in tag bolt holes on front bumper.

yeah guy did good job it scared the crap out of me though when he was taking paper of stripes so he could clear the car the paper reacted with paint and the stripes were peeling with paper.So he had to reverse tape off car and redo stripes.Got a lil trash in clear coat because of this but he said it will buff out in about a month.I decided to keep stripes because there are so many accords around in my town.And they are all the same I wanted mine to stand out.

i put 120 square feet of hardwood flooring in a trailer then sanded and finished the whole floor it was about 300 square foot altogther.I figure ive got about 200.00 in it by the time I pay my help and pay for materials thats not counting my time.But if I had been putting in the floor for some1 else it would have costed them about 650.00. I think i got a pretty good deal (lol).I actually believe im going to have wheels powder coated black.

yeah any1 can take a car and paint it a soild color and ride down the road blending in with the thousands of other accords.I perfer to stand out a lil bit.I guess it all boils down to what u like.

You will have to buy a floor jack and small jack stands and take the rear bumper off depending on how far you got your car lowered. Its probably best to take care of any suspension issues before you put the kit on to save yourself a lil trouble

Decided that body kit sucks mine kept dragging on everything just cant have 1 around here so I took it off.Blacked out my taillights and put carbonfiber vinyl over end of headlights actually thinking about doing the whole light with it.heres a couple pics though

bought some new stuff for the honda traded a guy some stereo stuff I had laying around and got me a tach.Awhile back I hit a rock in road and cracked rim an ruined tire so I had to get it rim welded an find me a tire.Finally found one used on ebay.I sure will be glad to have all matching wheels again.Also had to get a muffler broke the tip off mine on the cattle crossing in my front driveway.here is a couple pics:

I got the carbon fiber from ebay.
Its fairly easy to work with just apply and hit with a heat gun.

I also had the center ones with all LED and was working on the outers to get them to full LED.. But then I literally threw them away and got my car back to stock.. And I haven't had that car for a while.. Still, I would take my all clear tails that actually flowed with the rest of the car then fucking "racing stripes" on 4x4 Honda sedan...

I rarely use the work "rice" but honestly this car is ricey, imho. I think if he wouldn't of have put those freaking stripes or whatever the hell they're supposed to be it would've been a good car.. But its not my car, so he can do what he likes. And I'm glad he's at least still in the 3rd gen scene and hasn't moved on to a civic like most people....

Ok here it goes I dont post on here 4 approval.I post on here in case some1 sees something they like from my ideas they can use then that is great.(and a few have believe it or not)The stripes were painted on because I have always wanted a car with stripes and since I dont have a viper this will do and I wouldnt take a viper over my honda anyway.The stripes were painted just on hood and top an trunk instead of going over bumpers to make it look more like ole school hotrod than fast -n- furious jap crap.But the main reason my car has stripes is because I dont like to blend you can take a drive down the interstates here an you will pass 100,s of accords all looking the same if I wanted my car to look stock I would have left it exactly like it looked when I bought it from the old lady that I bought it from.I didnt exactly ask for stripes on it anyway I sanded a 600 foot floor for a guy and he painted it for free.He told me he was going to suprise me and this is what I got.So I think I will stick with the stripes since total cost of paint job was exactly 0$.Look at pics. below an tell me you dont think it is an improvement from what it used to be.

I honestly think you guys need to make positive comments or just not comment at all. Overall ,the car has come along ways. compared to the flames and shit before, its pretty nice looking. I already removed tach cause light was so brite at night in it I couldnt make left turns without covering it up.lol as for type-R I havent really like that much since I put it on.Just the paint was still real fresh when we put it on an I havent really had time to take it back to get it off yet.is all just because its on dosent mean I like it im just trying diff. things driving for awhile(to be honest I dont have a clue what Type-r even means I know its something with racing I just like how it was spelled and because it said accord haha

yes I would like to do manual swap for sure I have the dx that I think im never going to get a title for an was going to use it for the swap but it jumps out of 5th an reverse so I dont know if its even worth trying it with the tranny that doesnt work quite right.

Hey, some of us cut the body up and do custom stuff there, some paint it a funky color, some like duckbill spoilers while others like shopping carts. Really let's not just see our taste, but look at the work being done. This paint job looks pretty damn clean. The attention to detail with the mudflaps, and the fact that the stripes are actually straight, among other things, is pretty damn good.

The stripes are not my cup of tea either, but to each his own right. I'm with doing the swap to stick from auto to make that tac actually useful.

I think perhaps the best props go out to the way headbanger is handling himself with the responses he's getting. Props to you my man.

The tranny's can be had for pretty cheap. Still very much worth the swap, just line up a better tranny for the swap. Make sure you have a car on hand to run back and forth to the parts store and j/y while you're doing this swap though. ...oh and have internet access and a computer, so you can post up any questions while you're going through it. A number of us have done it at least once, I know I've done it twice already, and could easily see a third around the corner, and we can all help with getting it done.

it's a little *bling*, but I think you can pull it off if you were to get bronze (gold) wheels.

Gold emblems use to be huge in the lowrider community, and in the early/mid 90's damn near every higher end car (lex, infiniti, benz, bimmer, acura, caddy, etc) had gold option packages available from the dealer/factory.

Given there's already a stock H emblem, and an Accord emblem, the mudflaps say Honda, I personally don't think there's any question it's a Honda, so why stick 2 more chubby H's on each taillight. Just IMO though.

yeah the needles glow. i used purple leds and it creates a blacklight effect.needles are really bright.

Hi guyz no pics. today just some news have a guy who lives near me wanting to sell a 1987 hatchie dx,auto, for $300.00 says it runs but thinks headgasket is about gone says temp. gauge is erractic and it smokes white smoke when u start it.also needs a fender, going to look at it tomorrow will put up pics. when I get em.

ok I got my header from ghettogeddy in today so I stripped all paint off then painted it back with flat aluminum 1800-2000 degree paint.Gonna try an get it on tomorrow have to find a line wrench to fit that metal line that runs to manifold to get it off it is very tight.Also had a guy offer to sell me a set of rims so cheap I couldnt pass them by I tried one on front to make sure they fit And it did so I bought them got home and they wont fit its hitting on the back sucked big time cause I liked the rims they are 17,s heres a couple of pics....

yeah the hatch he had was not worth what he wanted it needed 2 fenders alot of interior work 2 gallons of bondo, headlight assembly and a partridge in a pear tree.lol.It also had a possible blown head gasket guess if you didnt have a rid or needed what parts that were salvageable it might be worth it.

That might also be going through the hole that the harness uses and punches through the side of the car under the fender. Dunno though honestly.

I'm curious to know though, how effective is that ground wire thing that i've been seeing a lot of people using lately? I had well over 4K into my system at one point, and never did a ground kit like that and was still destroying people in sound Q so I dunno.

Yes. It looks like it's that VHT ceramic paint. Start car, idle 10 mins., then let cool. Start car idle 20 mins, then let cool down. Then drive car for half hour, then let cool. Then it is cured. That VHT ceramic works very well.

I couldnt really tell a difference with ground kit I just left it on for conversation peeps are like damn whats that do......lol.But stereo is a bass masher that is a fact.I really aint a big fan of yellow but its one of those valve covers they were selling on ebay awhile back that was powder coated they wanted like 90 something shipped plus you had to send them an old one an I caught the yellow one on auction for like 35 shipped an didnt have to send an old one so I couldnt pass it up.I need to do some more stuff under hood yellow it would make it look better maybe get a yellow vinyl honda sticker to put on cai.But I most certaintly noticed a diff. with header on I really really like it.

lol.No I do have a 3 farad cap.But its not enough for that 4000 watt lanzar I cant even run parking lights if I turn stereo up more than 1/3 of the way.Need more power.Thought about dropping in a second battery but not sure about what all I need guess I could do a google an see I took 3rd in a local slam -n- jam audio comp. Then when I left a few days later I figured out that cd player had 4 diff. bass frequency settings not boost it has that to ,but hertz adjustment you can adjust it in incremts like 60 hz,80hz,100hz,200hz an I had it on 60hz in comp. an when you put it on 200hz it really slams I was pissed cause if I had it on 200hz instead of 60hz I would have won.

okay got some more stuff painted yellow to match the valve cover.Also got yellow vacuum hoses and yellow split looms coming as well.I also got a chrome spark plug wire holder coming as well.

yeah I am going to take it back out an black it out.Or I might even do the carbon fiber thing on it.The red stands out a bit for sure.But no it dont really get in the way of the mirror much at all.I got the solar panel at harbor freight for $12.99.They have a bigger one for $40 but I figure this is big enough to keep batterys charged when not in use.The tweets are pretty loud right there actually I keep treble on cd player at like +2 an its more than enough highs.It was just easier to put them there an tie into 6x9 leads.

ok.I decided to turn the pocket behind shifter into a gauge holder for my new oil pressure an volt gauges.Also put a couple of switches in it and a 12 volt socket.I ordered a 12x12 1/8 thick peice of plastic an molded it with plastic epoxy to the peice that orignally mounted behind shifter then rounded edges down to the orignal peice.Then I put the ole carbonfiber vinyl over it so it would match rest of dash now I got to wire it up.Im also going to put a couple leds over switches as indicator lights so you know when they are on.I really didnt need the bolts on the face but I thought the allen heads set it off.Heres some pics.

one is for the fog lights an one is an aux. I havent figured out what im going to run of it yet.All the gauges are hooked up to come with factory gauges.

ok.I figured out what im using 2nd switch for its going to be my disconnect for aux. battery in the trunk.I got it all hooked up the way I want it today.Im going to disconnect stereo system and hide its wires better to.But what I did is using a disconnect solenoid mounted in battery box to disconnect rear battery from the front when car isnt running.The solar panel is connected to rear battery to through a 12 volt lighter socket also mounted in the battery box in the rear to keep charging it even when car isnt running.Also added a couple guick connect post to outside battery box so I can connect things in a rush if I need to.I also got my uv leds in my new gauges so they will light up same as my main ones.Im also thinking about adding a second alternator where ac pump mounts an running a wire from it to the back battery an putting a switch on it so it will charge back battery up while car is running an help take load off the front alternator.Yeah I was just looking at picture off my stereo an Ive decided Im going to mount cap,amp an the crossover to the bottom of the rear deck.I also just got done with my slideshow videos check it out....http://s267.photobucket.com/albums/ii281/balldropr/?action=view&current=mycarmods.flv

My pop gave me the battery so I couldnt turn it down but once it goes out I want to get an red top battery.I think its called optima or something like that.
The knob in the center of gauge cluster is a 12 volt socket with a neat little insert to cap hole when not in use.

ty.Yeah I wouldnt have gotten mine painted if I hadnt have traded out for it.
But as far as a 5spd. mine will forever be an automatic as I enjoy being able to multi-task while driving its hard to eat a big mac meal driving stick.lol.The only thing I like about a stick shift is being able to roll start if the battery goes dead but with my new second battery thats not an issue anymore.

got me some new control arms in today from ebay 40.00 shipping an all for both sides with bushings you cannot beat this price an wow what a diff. my old ones had gotten so bad car was squeaking going down road an when I hit a bump it sounded like front end was loose. I had put new shocks on front an was disapointed cause I didnt notice an improvement.But control arm bushings are a must do.

bought me a 92 civic today for a $100.00 it has a decent body on it the guy that had it beat some dents in it an punched out the back side door window.It needs alot of work dont know if im going to fix it or not it has some nice seats in it that im hoping will fit my accord they are the same color.It also has some nice 5 star rims on it an brand new tires.They said it is leaking water from a missing freeze plug,they put a new clutch in it but its not working right,an it smokes blue smoke like a freight train when it revs up.but engine runs real smooth an it has a store bought short ram air intake on it.For the price it has some good parts on it should be able to part it out an get my money back if i dont fix it ill post some pics tomorrow

Are your Accord seats destroyed? Because EG seats are nowhere near as comfortable. You can definitely make them fit, probably won't like up on all four at first but you can make some brackets.

drivers side has a huge rip in it might could be sewed up though.I got to looking an the ones in the civic sit at an upward angle in the front mine in the accord dont.Might be more trouble than they are worth.

me and forrest put accord seats in my old civic.. just had to drill 1 hole in the rail and extend the other hole a little bit.. shouldnt be to much work to install them

just got me some different wheels.They are more like I orignally wanted.But I am so freaking glad to get those 16's with those low profile tires off of there.I noticed a huge ride difference after putting on these 15's with some tire on them I enjoy riding in my car once again.Nice not feeling like you are riding a sled. ;) I also noticed I have to replace a lower front balljoint as this was the source of my squeaking problems.
