I used my A/T ECU when I did my 5 speed swap, not sure if it works the other way around.
Someone on here should be able to answer the question

The harness will work, But it won't have the wires for the shifter and most likely the wires for the rear doors(power locks, windows, light, door switches). I believe that is all of the differences.

your best bet is to use the same year and trans ECU

doesnt the auto box has its own ecu anyway so he can leave that year and use a manual engine ecu it will still work the same right.
run the efi loom standalone if u have too ha

I Found The Right Ecu For The Car. I Did Get It And Replace It. The Old Ecu Would Just Blink Once. The New One Was Blinking 12 Times And I Found That I Had A Egr Vacumn Line Wrong. Quick Fix So No More Check Engine Light. It Still Didnt Fix My Sub Cooling Fan From Comming On.

I did not do the engine wire harness..
