well my issue isnt the drop, as much as my wheel width and offset, because im a sucker for a killer deal and had to buy these wheels without researching...
i see TWOLOUDNPROUD that you have +42 on 205s.. so you would have about 12mm on me, and i see your back wheels barely tuck.
EricW.. what width and offest are you running there...

after a search of my computers pulled up nothing PS heavy, i leave you with some of my photography that iv'e ps'd to greatness...

Your going to need camber correction in the front. You could probably get away without fixing the rear but its an easy fix using the washer trick.

Prelude adjustable upper control arms. Theres a really good write-up on that in the suspension section. In the rear you might need the camber to clear the fenders, and rear camber just looks cool from the back

k, as for lowering it 2.25 on 17's, that will not be a problem at all. In fact it'll sit very nicely with a nice even gap between the tire and fender all around.

I'm guessing with your setup, you're almost guaranteed to rub. Those tires (at 215/45) are both too wide and too tall (ideally should be 205/40), and top that off with an et of 35 (should be more like 40-45) which will hold them further of the hub.

Personally, I wouldn't do that setup, as even with frenched fender wells, I'm still not confident that you wouldn't rub.

Let us know what you end up doing either way.

well the choice was made about the wheels before i bought the car.. unfortunately.. i didnt do my reasearch.. and the price was WAY too good for new tires and wheels for me to say no. the back wheels just barely rub. im sure with some rolling.. i can get it to fit... and its been ordered.. tokicos and ST 2" lowering springs.. should look ok.

you'll need camber kits and tuck em in about 1.5 gegree of negative camber with some extreme fender rolling and you might be ok.

I have run both 205/45 and 215/40 17" tires with no problems. Your tires are hust slightly too tall n wide. I bet they're good on the highway though.

I personally run right now 205/40 but will go back to 215/40 in the future.

Heres a back profile shot with about .5 degree of negative camber.

Not quite what you're looking for, but here was my car on Intrax springs (which ultimately set me at about a 1.9" drop front and 1.7" rear on 205/45/16

its about 1/2in lower now. and i wanna tuck the wheels as far as i can go. No rubbing so far, not sure the overall drop, I have 205/40 tires on there. hope that helps!
