I briefly started searching for a carbon fiber hood for future use and im curious to what other users find to be the best fitting/looking hood available. I have only seen one in person and it fit pretty well but not as good as i would want.

I appreciate input!

I think the best ones are the ones from the original group buy. They had rolled edges and did lack the stiffening supports so you have to run hood pins but I havent found an ebay one that has rolled edges. they are all cut.

I use to have the name of the company that made ours from the first group buy. im pretty happy with it but it has a slight bow at mid fender. Its very slight and Ive done the best I can to get it to fit straight. One other problem with those was that the hood loop was slightly off and you have to open up the holes on the hood latch to move it down about 1/2 an inch so the hood sits where its supposed to be.

I can take pictures of mine if need be, just let me know. It is a ful fiberglass on with skeleton and all. I dont think they make it anymore though.

What year teg? Cause I never put squirters on my hood and could use em built into the arms.

the gen 2 should fit. Im not sure about the recievers where the arms meet the spindles but the wiper blades are the same. Youd have to find a way to get the lines through the hood cowl but for the look of a clean hood and no sqiurters I think it would be worth it.

300 shipped consider it sold. Tell me some more about it? Is it twisted from storage, faded or miscolored in places? Is it reinforced so no hood pins are needed? Are the edges cut or rolled? Got any pics I can use while I'm in the bathroom? Sorry its really late. Sounds very interesting.
