rear window defogger non functional

its cooling down in the 408 and i leave my house at like 615 am and im getting some thick dew on my windows. i turn on my rear window defogger and get nothing... luckily i drive a hatch and the wiper back there works so i can see but i was wondering how much to fix and how to. thanks guys

I dont know if its the same for hondas, but when this happend on my 92 golf it was because the defrost lines themselves were "burned out." the only way to fix it on my golf was to buy a new rear window, so i decided screw it.

i need new front windscreen anyways so maybe i could get a deal with the back too idk

if your going to buy one used you can test the circuit the defroster makes with a continuity tester or multimeter on the OHM setting before buying the window. the one in my 3gee still works though.
