Anyone else think this 1985 Accord looks a little worse for wear assuming 69k? The paint on my '84 was better (not dull) when I got it from N.C. and it had 240K! I'm not saying the mileage isn't legit, but I wouldn't guess it from the look of it. I guess the interior isn't too bad, except for the obligatory faded steering wheel, but the paint looks like it was wet-sanded.

i have a friend of mine in indonesia with a 3gen sedan accord with 80k miles on the odo...its original miles but the roads in indonesia are awful. it has original paint and has the similar rough texture as well. im wondering. i asked around as we realised, it is mainly due to being left outside most of the time. the morning mist caused the laquer layer of the metallic paint to oxidize. this the caused the rough texture to appear of the top surface. unlike solid paint, no buffing can help this. sadly unlike my friend's 3g, even the lamps looks scruffed on this car. even there r many dings which shows that the car had seen sum harder days. anyway, it isnt that bad a buy, however if i had the option i would have gone for the blue 83' with zero miles which is truely brand new.
