Made to fit a MUCH deeper speaker. in the last pics these almost a 3" deep 6.75" speaker in there and maybe just over a half inch sticking out the back.

Looks good. I like how you used the speaker covers as a base.

well I was going to mount them with the metal pop in clips epoxyed in the scow holes from behind, held great for the test fit but then I lost the clips and just never got new ones. and sorry. I meant to take in process pics but didn't.

they look good and quality but maybe a pic of it taped or held to the door as a fit. Im having a hard time imagining the look. Mike

hard to believe, but OEM speakers out of a later model honda paired with some tweeters actually do sound better. what i found out anyway. but they look good and would do the job for sure

aftermarket is always better tho. i used dynamatt in my front doors and the sound from the speakers sounds more crisp.

that looks good, only thing i would of done different is putting the speaker hole more towards the middle of the pod, but it still looks good how it is

Yeah aftermarket good quality ones that can take the power lol. But for people who power their speakers right off the headunit with no sub i recon you cant go wrong. In my exclusive i have someOEM honda gathers 6X9s i stole from a domani or something and they do as gooder job as any aftermarket. only downer is they can obnly take like 30 w rms but what headunit puts that out. in the front i have some 6 inch OEM honda speakers i stole from a later model orthia wagon. Sounds good as gold

ya, I did the 1st time I tested them. But I had to line them up so the magnet still gos in the stock hole, so they had to sit there
