The rear headrest section on my 3gen are fading pretty badly do to the sun. Is there anything I can use to cover the rear deck so this won't happen? No one usually sits on the backseats so I could possibly make something to cover the deck and seat top.

car cover,i'vr had to re upholster my rear deck lid three times already, and all the quarter and window trim needs to be redone again too. i'm also going to make a rear sunshade for the back window. the hatches have the same thing as two front windshields.

They would work but I would need to find a pretty big one to be able to cut out the spots for the rear speakers. Then I need to find a way to attach it, not to mention it would look silly since I wouldn't want to crawl back there everytime I leave the car.

Actually my dad drive the car. So he definitely will not climb back there. He already has a tough time getting into the car. :violin:

hm oh dang.. what about those baby roll down things.. you know they suction cup to the window. and you pull down the shade to keep sun out of the face.. so just get like two of them and pull up and down when needed.. LOL

not sure how it would look but ok..! ha

I'll have to think of something. Soon the seat will split.

Haha yeah but thats the only bad part of my interior. The rest is mint. I tried finding seat covers but all have headrests.

Buy 2 bath towels fold them in half long-ways and drape across the seat tops. If you want to match the seats go somewhere with a paint dept and grab a bunch of swatches, match one to your interior and match that to a towel. They'll stop the seats from fading, they're cheap, easy, and comfy against your head (in case someone decides to sit in the back).

That's whats good about having tint. My car sat in the sun, in the same spot, all day, everyday for 3 years and my seats have not faded at all. Actually it still sits outside everyday, it just gets driven. Get tint, its good for a lot of things.

I'll try the towel idea. I don't have the cash for tint, not to mention my windows are scratched so it will show. Thanks for the input.

fold the seat down. you can do that for free, and you wont have the "dead body in the trunk" look with the towels like on Pulp Fiction.
