Swap info needed please!

Hi i'm new to 3geez. I've searched around and can't find what i'm looking for.
So sorry if this is a repost.

Ok my parents have a 89 accord with an A20A1 in it.
It blew up.

What motors and trannies can be swapped in with the least amount of $$$.

I'd like to know what motors can go in with the same engine mounts if possible.

I can get a D16Y7 or Y8 with tranny really cheap for a 96-2000 civic.
Is this a possible swap?

Not looking for power. They just need their car back running with a tight budget.
