Great photos, and awesome car! The countryside there is beautiful too. It's just great to see you and your family going on an adventure in that car! Drive it everywhere! :)

I'm still a little jealous of the nice Factory alloys (that we never got here).

La verdad lo que mas me gusta de ese son las llantas,y lo que tambien esta increible es el paisaje.

yessss. i love the rims as well 79cord. i saw a set on a sedan once in my city. it looked awesome till when i got closer i noticed that the holes had be re-drilled. it was a let down as i really wanted them to be original. also i hv seen many rims of the exact pattern in junk yards but all of them dont fit! guess the rims were oursourced from a company that made them in different sizes as well. i was offered the set but i would have to re-drill them myself. i ended up with the panasport looking rims. (im still not sure the brand, all that i know is that they were on an old MGB and was made in brittain)....still nice wheels 79cord....

Did you lower it? It looks like it's got a nice rake to it. Looks good!

yes....i love the rake on it too. its subtle but to a keen eye, u would know it is there....hehe... i have my money on the fact that 1 coil has been eleminated. wouldnt do much to the ride but lots to the looks. hehe....

I'm thinking the same too. The unloaded pics has similar wheel gap to mine.

And what lip is that? That looks bigger than what I've seen.

hazwan did u lower ur car as well? or maybe its caused by the larger rims on your car, raised ur car by just a little and filled up the wheel arches propely. and as for the lip, i noticed it too, seems larger than the OEM. i suspect it was fabricated using fibreglass. guess it does its job....which makes me wonder, what is its job? lolz. regards, dev

The lip is adapted from a Renault Clio

Yes, around 2" all around and the slightly larger 14" wheels doesn't really make a difference with the overall diameter. The gap is the same even with older 13" wheels.

damn.....well it looks the part hazwan. in fact ur car looks a whole lot longer in that way. how is your ride? better? worse? same? coz my friend lowered his ferio almost to the level of what mintyvinty did his accord but weirdly it rides exactly the same as . weird! however the similar thing was done to his 3g and that car gives a crappy ride but looks amazingly cool. if it doesnt affect the ride comfort much, i too might think of 1' or 2' inches off all round....hehe...

also when i look at mintyvinty's car, it appeared that ur car and his had the same theme. as though they had the same designer....bother shaved, clean, lowered, black door pillars and mint metallic paint. heh.....

Haha I guess you are right. Thats what I thought when I saw his car :D

As for the ride quality, I don't know, its a bit bumpy, but I then I really have no idea about my springs. I got them like that and its a bit lower than stock. It might be chopped stock springs. I don't have chance to compare them side by side.

a bit bumpy is something i think i could live with.... anyway, i love the stance of both your car and jose's car. anyway, if you do come over to my place you could always have a go at my car. it would be my pleasure actually. you could then know what the stock accord springs are like..... i think im still not old enough for me to have to resort to stock ride height. chop chop! hehe....

also i seem to realise that the stock accord 1g seems lowered. i mean this in comparison to corollas and mazda of its day. that might give an optical illusion that the car is already lower. however i think not only can i put my arm but i think i can even shove my head (figure of speech) between the gap of the tyre/wheel arch......hehe..
