yeah will work fer sure so will a 84-87 prelude one and 84-89 accord they are just all geared diffrent

all that fast idle BS fits the trash can quite well too

I Can Buy This Lxi For 350.00..runs Great Has Some Rust..my 86 2 Door Hatch Is An Automatic And I'm On My Second Tranny,and Its On Its Way Out...so Just Asking If This Would Work..should I Use Anything Else From This Car Besides The Tranny..

wel if u wanted to you could swap to fuel injection
also could swap the front brakes and spindles prop valve and MC and then you would have larger front brakes and you can swap the rims
seats are also more comfy

flywheel,clutch,drive shafts andf cv joints from donor car are handy to have.
clutch cable, manual pedal box and of course the right 5 speed.
