Ok now this is really pissing me off here. I know when my bass hits its gonna take some power from my car but it dims the clock to the point where i can't even see the time anymore and it dims the dash lights too. I was wondering if this is a problem that can be fixed with a new battery (mine is like on the verge of dying) or a faulty alternator. Also then i start to drive it dosent dim anymore, i imagine because the alternator is charging the battery more than at an idle. But id like to know how to correct this problem? Would a capacitor make a differance? Im running 2 12" clarions powered by a 300w pioneer amp btw, I am way underpowered i know. Any help would be apperciated. Thanks.

well, first thing, you can putt cap and it should fix it.
the other thing is to get biggest battery you can fit.
i think stock ones are like 550 cca, and i got the 750cca. and i am running 500W system. no problem with everything on.
so try battery first. if that doesn't fix try getting capacitor, that should fix for sure.
