Haha. Shes got all memphis in her, 5.25 Mclass in the front, 6x9 PR in the rear, an 800 watt amp, and a 10" sub for now. Planning to get 2 15" Memphis' and a bigger Mclass amp. Other planned upgrades for the car are a better tint job, more performance upgrades, possibly an OEM spoiler.
Also this engine was put in by me and my dad.

Thanks man!

for a moderate drop (1.5in) go with either Eibach or H&R, you can run KYB orTokicos shocks with no problem.
For anything lower go with sprint or dropzone.
Stay away from the cheap ebay coilovers and you'll be okay

What would you recommend? I can snag a complete set of sprints for like 30 bucks, but I've heard they will destroy your stock shocks..

you dont want to run stock shocks on lowered coils.
Not sure what shocks to run with sprint. Some of the members here have sprint hopefully they will post up a answer

theres not really too much of a option. either Tokicos that are easy to get. Koni's - which you gotta find from someone on here more than likely. or i think nopi.com still might have the bilsteins - possibly only for the 89 tho. even tho the 2 years are the same isnt a difference.

I have sprints with Tokico blues and its stiff but incredibly responsive. No signs of wear, bouncing, or bottoming out the strut at all. I recommend the setup highly

Next on the agenda is lowering it 1-1 1/2 inches, repainting the whole car, and maybe some more performance upgrades. Such as a new header, bigger injectors, CAI, and maybe a few other goodies.

What would you guys do next? One of the rims is bent ( previous owner neglected to tell me this... :/) so get a complete new set, being 16 inches, or try to find one rim, and get new tires, cuz these are worn? Thanks!

def not the right tire size. that last number has to match the wheel diameter. Double check that and come back.

as for which wheels/tires to go with, if you use that as your daily driver I would stick with either 15 or 16's. If you go 17's, the wheel and tires both are more expensive, and the ride quality will be reduced a bit.

Looks like you have a great base to start from there, or just keep as is and enjoy many years of reliable transportation. My only suggestion (based on personal experience), is that I would take off that Memphis banner on the windshield. Not because it looks like crap, because I don't think it looks bad at all (in fact, I kinda like it), but because you're basically putting a "STEAL ME" sign on it. No alarm in the world (again, trust me, I learned this the hard way) is going to stop someone that wants what's in your car bad enough.

I also hate to be the one pissin in someone's punch, but DO NOT put sprints on Toki's. You may get reviews from some that say the ride is great with that combo, but assuming the numbers we've collected are correct, the numbers don't lie, and the numbers don't match. You will blow your struts, and even if it 'feels' like your car is riding nice, get someone to follow you on the highway and through back roads and vid your car. I'm willing to guarantee with damn near 100% certainty, that you'll see the ass bobbing up and down within months of driving on that setup. Nail the brakes, and you'll see up the ass end of it in a hurry.

I just got some HID's for it, a new shift bushing kit and a OEM sunroof visor. I havent got them in yet, but will get pics when I do. I'll be pulling the engine again, and when I do I wanna get 5th gear working. Does anyone have a link to a kit for just 5th gear?

I got the engine once again pulled ( only took me 4 and a 1/2 hours) and its ready for the parts car engine I have parts car. The engine had an unknown failure and has small metal shavings in the oil. The company I bought it from is replacing it for free, and once i get that engine its going to be torn int, head work is gong to be done, and all upgraded internals. NA baby!
