What up......i havent been on really cause the site wouldnt let me in but I Got the accord all torn apart......Got All the of the following put on so far ,lli put pics as i go. im having Issues mounting the Stock DSM tiny intercooler i show a pic of that this week

Manifold was on i could of kept my ac but i just took it off works great thou. Got the radiator on that was a treat also and the oil pan im working on right now. Tonight i just put on the stleathmode Oil line kit from tunertoys...man thats a anwsome kit. I got some pics wheni just got the turbo on lol....i thow some more in i just wanted to let u know im getting the shit done...your never gonna do it unless you do and an start so u know what u need and what not...But everything going good pretty far

What size down pipe are you running? It seems like it will be quite low to the ground if it has to go under the cross member. Awesome deal on the bov.

Well today i did a chore after work...got the oil pan on and oil return line on tighen all the turbo bolts so basicly im down to charge pipes and radiator....So here the pics

Okay here u can see that i got a problem already i going to need to either noch the cross member or get a fitting so i can clear the cross member but i just did it to see what would it look like

Got the Tunertoys Adapter on and all tighen up line feed to turbo and plug on for now. im trying to get a oil gauge for a decent price.......Let me know if u guys got one....To fucking me on ebay..

well thats it for tonight...shit the way im working everynight on this project im going to be done really soon...

Nice work. You should be able to take the compressor housing off and rotate it and put it back on to where ever is easiest to route the charge pipe. Any plans on how your going to route the down pipe?

Can you clock the center on that turbo? You may want to because you generally want the oil drain straight down so the oil can flow freely back to the pan.

I tryed that the Dsm T25 dont move worth a shit....conpresser side has a big ass clip ring and the exhaust housing is bolts and the acturator i dont know how it would work. only has one place to mount it....So u think i would be okay....i saw worse lol.

you have to take those c clips off the housings and loosen the bolts to rotate the centersection. You really the oil drain to point down or a little towards the oil pan, the way you have it now might work but it might smoke also. Making my old setup work, i had to notch the front beam a little for clearance, and even then i was only using a 2.5" downpipe, its tight there.

Update i got the turbo clocked like it supose to and i had the machine shop retap the bad one got all new hot side bolts...all charge pipes on and bov and boost vacumes connect Radiater is In meaning bolted up not just laying in the bay..Down to nothing guys sat. im moving the battery to the trunk on sat
ft of 4gauge cable and a breaker. OH and i got the Egr plate on to lol.But anyhow here are some pics

You should buy a wideband oxygen sensor to install before you drive the car, I would hate to see you do all that work and have to replace the motor. I would recommend the innovate lc-1 (http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/products/MTS.php). You could run one of the analog outputs to the ecu for the narrow band input and you won't need another O2 bung. The lc-1 can replicate a narrow bands O2 signal based off of what its reading and how you program it.

I'm not criticizing you just trying to save you a head ache down the road. Your project looks like its gonna be quite fun to drive since you will be able to get boost almost instantaneously.

I'm working on building the spare motor right now since the the one in the car has low compression on two of the cylinders so instead of seeing how long it would go till it blew I'm just building a new motor. I'm also going to be running a bigger turbo. I'm probably going to have to get a half size radiator like your running also. How much did you get yours for?

UPDATE IT RUNS....got the accord started today runs good but my wastegate aint working with me very good boost hit then drops sooo im confused no leaks and what not. no smoke Open dp lol....heres the link u can hear my wg give out lol.. i made a arm and didnt hold up...im just going to weld it here the vid thou short and not the great but it runs and going to get it tuned in portland but need new plugs and gaped low 28 and IM selling my MSD ingition if anyone wants it for 150 plus shipping has been rebuilt since it went out.

It's okay. The exhaust shops in Longview wouldn't build me a downpipe if I paid. Literally. I tried 3 of them, and they all told me to get lost... I even offered to buy the mandrel bends since they can't bend anything decent in town. Still no go...

I know huh lol....Those guys are to much he likes next week bring it in and ill see what i can do if he cant. then me and my buddy can do it he owns a exhaust shop so well do it decent enought but i want to drive it bad man lol i miss driving it....My scion dont feel as good as my accord lol thanks thou man...I got the came gear fixed to it was a pain in the ass lol...slap that on so i can time it better. U think 8psi alot i saw no smoke or nothing and so idk im going to put the boost control on if i have to but i heard u get boost creep but ill let you know

well i know my motor up for it good compression and no leaks but its lack of management safc,btm,450,255pump...its reasonable but idk really trying to get that wideband...ill lower it forsure thou if it to much....Thanks for the info man

yeah thats what i meant.....my scion beening reliable. i dont care if my accord blows i just bluid another motor up for boost. This motor wanst intended for boost but should b okay with 9.1 compression. I just want it to last lol....i should be okay ill know when i take it out on the highway. Im having issues with my acturater its geting stuck not boosting right at all its binding up for the fact that i extended the flaper so i can connect the acturater arm to it. well doing that making it bind up....thats the only problem i having...I wish the made some universal ones...Ill figure something out..sorry for long post lol and bad spelling

UPDATE:

Car is all done and boosting 8lbs steady and strong. My buddy came back from sckool and he did some tunning and was not happy with my SAFC....he said you need obd1 converstion and wideband but we manage to get it close...All i got to say is holy shit. I took her out saturday night and people kept calling me out so i did one race to see what i can do..no traction what so ever in first gear and 2nd but the car i raced was a 93 civic hatch with Minime swap and chipped ecu...was quick but not quick enought...on 2nd i pulled like nothing he was like wtf lol....other then that she good ill post vids and pics this week guys...just wanted to let you know whats up...i had a exhuast leak on the manifold gaskets so i had to replace em...but man i love it boost now.

I have some q's thou....My turbo spoools way to quick lol i know thats normal for a t25, but is it Okay for it to spool like that when your going 60 and your going up a hill an spooling 5 maybe 6lbs? reason asking i was going up a hill and it was doing that i dont want to blow her up just cause that reason even thou im not putting a heavy load...Or maybe i have that 272 cam causing it to spool early...well let me know guys thanks

Yeah there is no problem with the turbo being at 5-10psi for a while when dragging up hills. When I took my WRX up the mountain passes it was in boost a looooong time, just the nature of small turbo and a hill.

But yeah you should definitely have a 14b or a 16g on there... way better suited for the a20 IMO. :D

that reminds me of monday....i was coming out of the freeway and this like 94 civic comes next to me and its a red light....he takes off fast so do i....in first we were next to each other but on 2nd gear i pulled on him....at the next light he gave me the thumbs up..haha....its not that hard going OBD1....for me the hardest part was getting the dizzy...i was lucky to get an already moded one...but its easy...just cut off the tabs the f22 dizzy and rewelded them to the a20 pattern...some grinding and bam...obd1

yes it is...im running a bit rich. The Safc setup can only do so much but a respectable 7-8psi steady not bad at all. but i really want to convert to obd1 thats my next project but other then that its...Steady and insane power. Got my Mallory 6al put in today and G-Power plugs gaped at 32. Should help.
re-gap to around 28 and you did go with a colder plug right.
when i ran an afc mine liked to run 2 steps colder with a gap of 26.
the btm was set Little more than 1/2 a degree of retard per pound of boost.
play with the timing, IE retard it 2-3 degrees but don't go any more than that.

i had the best luck with the cheap ngk's and champion copper plus.

Im just using the Super Afc man the BLUE SCREEN. And the blue tops 450cc injectors from a dsm. I used the base start with the setting from HTM then i just street tuned. IM in the process of obd 1 so when spring falls i can play with the laptop lol

thats the one. ITs pretty easy. you got your hi and lo throttle settings and thats basicaly what you go mess with. I didnt touch nothing else beside the Pressure 6in6out. Its easy i give you my setting once your got your ins. If can use the new ones but has other bs that we dont use on are accords.

oh i still need to rewire the dash panel, and then get zeph to help me build that wild turbo manifold. once we build a better manifold it should be a pretty simple downpipe design. but the manifold itself will be a task for sure. been busy with work and holiday stuff, and now the weather is so cold i don't want to be wiring in the freezing garage all weekend. ;-)

excellent! i am glad to hear that she is running well. I hate to say i lost interest for a minute. I put in a new hood, and sunroof glass but i have yet to rebuild the turbo.she runs but she smokes like a train under boost. Thanks for askin.

OH fuck man its sucks. i been building this kit for a year and a half now, i get it done i drive it...want 5 times and i have to park it Lol. But it runs good thank god. Turbo has some shaft play but not to extreme. That really sucks man that your turbo leaking oil?

i am building a b18a turbo for the civic, i have the eagle h beams and the moroso oil pan is on the way.I have a whole list of stuff i need to get for it still. well this is a 3rd gen site so i don't want bore any one with civic stuff.

And heres a 10 pounds of boost launch...wow. i notice i have alot more vacum after vac mod. i had 15hg on my boost gauge now im at 18hg. so almost 20 at idle

K for one its simple for that fact that sam made it so easy. the two vac lines on the dizzy 15 is ignition control. i T'd them both and 12 to plemum, and 15 to ignition module. I get it all together guys. its not that hard. The only thing i have hooked up is my map and ignition module. thats it....and my dizzy of course once with the obd1 i wont even had those lol. And i have my cruise. K Enjoy....Oh and sams looks alot cleaner for the fact that he dont got shit in his bay lol.

okay question bout ur vac removal, i need good pics of the ign mod. I got two things that look the same, and my vac lines are numbered diffrent (weird i kno)
So, the question is, can you do good close up pics of the acutal ign modual thats hook up to the wires. If u can give me the two wire colors that are hooked up to it ill kno wut to do.

K GUYs heres a mini How to...Make at as easy as its going to get....WORKS...

EVERYTHING GOES. Except Map sensor and Ignition module. pretty simple. And The Idle Control Sonoid Vavle Also thats right on top of your Resitor box. Cant miss it has to big ass vac hoses. and if you have your stock intake off you'll have a little black box that goes inbetween one of the lines.

As you see here theres two lines. BOTH lines to got vac adavnce deal. As you see 15 is the only one that goes straight to the dizzy. 12 thats on TOP goes to dizzy AlSO BUT........this is the vac line that gets to T's....There was a wire that did not have a clip so i just cut it to Let the Igniton Module Loose...

K you see here the Vac adavance deal on the dizzy....15 comes straight from the Ignition control module...JUST THIS LINE. and 12 gets 2 T's as i said. thats on the next pic

Heres 12...pretty simple....pay attenion lol. Put a T in the vacum line coming from the dizzy....From that T your going to run a another line that goes to your Plemun or where all your vac lines goes on the side of the manifold.. Thats the only LINE that your going to use. K back to the T...Since you ran the vac line to side of manifold. You run other on the other side of the T to other T which you see is blue..thats on the right guys..SO the 12 coming from the ingition module goes to that blue T...then your map goes on there TO....IF you want it there. works fine. then the other opening goes to the WHITE T......ITs not that hard guys...if you to ill edit the pic so you know whats what....

last step
Cap everything. lol....in order to take off the metal vac lines that are like a S shape you need to take off the Fuel Line. Easy just make sure you have a rag lol.....reason it took me 4 hours we where fucking around....i just have my shit haging now lol...but works great.

so...i was just curious why you decided to go with putting the intercooler directly behind the passenger headlight? it looked like you cut out the front radiator support area since you upgraded to the other one you're currently using. but, i was wondering why you didn't mount it on the front, run a a 180* bent aluminium pipe to the front mount from the turbo compressor, then another 180* bent aluminium pipe to the piping going to the TB? were there clearance issues with the intercooler piping possibly scraping the ground? i was thinking of doing this with a T3 turbo since the the elbow pipe from the turbo is a straight 90* off the 300ZX, and just running it under the crossmember like the stock pipe, then basically mounting the intercooler infront of the stock radiator...but i've got a head full of crazy sometimes, :nuts:

i know i kind of gave you shit for the whole use of that turbo, but honestly that turbo exhaust elbow looks to be a pain to work with unless you had another fabricated so you could just run it under the car like the exhaust does on the stock NAs. but, i'm sold on the T3 and the compressors are quite large for later expansion down the road. but i tip my hat since not many have turbo'd their A20s, but hopefully soon i'll start building a turbo motor on the lower compression Accord pistons, and some crappy eBay front mount. but i really wanna try for that front mount idea since the T3 turbo compressor housing doesn't elbow out like that T25 you have there, so it's just straight pipe to a 90* elbow to the inlet of the front mount, then just run the 180* elbow from the outlet pipe of the front mount and run piping along the front up that hole in the frame people run their cold air kits into, and into the TB. all this talk makes me want to do it soon...but we have to wait on the purchase of the second vehicle.

Running stock PJO. DSM 450cc injectors and 255cc intank. As in voltage everything just bolts up and no you dont ahve to do shit like that since we are peak and hold like dsm and we have a resistor box. all you go to do is control em some how. im using Apex S-AFC

well update lol...I did a couple things today remove some more ac lines. and install my Spectra Spark Plug wire holder and did custom cow induction hood status LOL...

Hey man I had my intercooler pipes setup just using universal bends ordered from www.siliconeintakes.com the fitment was awesome and the quality of the couplers and clamps is top notch!

I will just have to go toss them up against the car to recreate them again and let you know what you need to buy. it probably will be 'close'....

Update....got fmic today and did a quick mock up...i saw my buddy chrises setup and i loved it so i did my best to copie HEhE..I bought Justin86 charge pipes and HTS couplers so i got one heck of a deal... but not bad mock up here some pics

nice work! the only downside to mounting it this way, is that a taller intercooler core is pretty much out of the question. on my car at least the intercooler is basically flush with the bottom of the bumper. But it looks great, and hopefully you will get those charge pipes installed, and your car will be much happier!

I made sure it was going to be flush with the bottom of the bumper thats the first thing i made sure lol...or should say wher the condenser cooler/ ac cooler w/e but i felt that it was flush there with the bumper so i did some measurements. i want to make it nice so im going to cut all the little fins out so it can be whole. Instead of going thew the side on the left side, I did what tommy did go thew the power steering cooling lines area...looks clean and shouldnt be a problem, Im going to wrap the pipes so they stay cool......tonight i should have here done IF i can get the bumper to clean the pipe on the right side...

Well today i got my A20A1 block and head...blown headgasket thats what my buddy told me so i took the valve cover off and the plugs looks good so idk...going ot tear it apart this week....IM PUMPED....aiming for 300hp with this build....take a bit to build her but thats my goal

Well took the head to my work and used the sovent tank to take off all the build up...everything looks legit...There some scoring on the lobs of the cam but, im going get stage 3 bisi or delta...but i post pics of the head and pistons....looks good

As far is head work and block...i called my mechine shop here...got one heck of a deal...to hot tank and valve job is 225 and to bore i dont know yet since i dont know what type of pistons im getting...im leaning towards JE..

I went to goldendale man bout a good 2 hour drive....and not just straight up hills like a mofo...i was always on boost...not alot like 3-5 max...and i started smelling oil...no smoke just oil...when i got to the gas station i look where i put the tube from the v/c and i saw oil all over my strut and spring..im like wtf....ran good on the way home to juts lost alot of oil like total there an back 1 quart so idk...

Well......man idk....its just wierd as hell....i went and put some oil in and started her up ...perfect idle and runs good no smoke..i went out and did some pulls not alot of boost 5 and good no smoke...did a full boost run and nothing....went out and no oil loss....LOL...so idk wtf...it i had bad rings i would of been smoking or lack of power...i got a shit load of power.....IDK...if i really need to for now ill just slap some rings rehone it and new rod bearing if there bad...shit idk....

Heres the switch it was a bitch to get this mounted solid...I had to drill a hole and use a self tapping screw and a washer...its on there tight.

I just ran the wires up like stock and drill some extra holes to zip tie the power lines...DONT worry they have extra coating so no sparks and all that....lol

So Rendon, after seeing that you made a catch can which is fairly simple and gets the job done. I received a small kick in the ass (which is what i needed) and began to look around the garage to see if i had something that would #1 work #2 be durable #3 look some what professional.
i spent an hour or two looking at spray paint cans and shit of that nature. Everything looked or would have looked gay.

So being a bit discouraged i was contemplating opening a box of Coors light and forgetting that i even thought about it.

holes are drilled slightly smaller to allow for threading of 1/2 " slip/threaded coolant fittings wrapped in tef tape.
I wanted to keep it simple so that anybody could make one without the use of a welder and to keep the budget in check.. So there is no internal baffling besides as you pointed out the use of steel wool.
i could split it and put in 2 or 3 plates 2 different grades of wool but that would defeat my intention.
I placed the fittings about 3/4's of the way up from the bottom.

now I am no expert and there are other's on the site that know a hell of allot more on catch cans than i do, but i think this will do fine.

On the question of the fittings being right across from each other. It's hard to say with the steel wool in the mix.
the steel wool is going to slow the charge of both lines, but the two lines pushing against each other could cause some back pressure at high flow rates.

alright i did some research and it seems that every thread i read said that you need baffles. The thing that baffles(lol) me is that giant's like Greddy do not use them in their cans. so ?

I went ahead and cut the can in half and put in a baffle. There goes the easy no welding necessary catch can.
I'll still do a non baffled wright up though.

i used a 1" copper flaring tool after i drilled a 7/8" hole.

Well little update....Got my switch wire right LOL, added a sticker for the techs to see. and i finished my Vented Catch can that 89T Made.. Mines not as good as his but looks legit..now i have to test it...i turned it on but my fitting is leaking on my valve cover so i put some jb weld. LOL

Except mine is in the middle of the taillight, so I don't think I could put that sticker there. Also, not sure how I feel about forgetting to take the key out of the kill switch, then have someone jack the key and leave me stranded. Guess I can just keep a spare in my wallet or something.

No...but with that fuse you can turn off the key and pull it out and go inside or w/e...

Update i just put the inline fuse in and works like a dream...i tryed to start the car an the fuse pop way b4 i tryed to....good deal now im happy...i was stressiing when i was going into the store or w/e and im like fuck someone going to pull my key out and im fucked lol. now i just turn it off yet my car still have power and take the key with me no worrys WOOT.... k now i need to run 2 more wires and im ready for portland lol

thats why you put a inline fuse from walmart put one end on the battary and the other to the side thats the main line. put a 30amp fuse...so when you turn the key off and PULL it out like mine you there enought power to keep your alarm and memory for w/e you got...ANd if someone trys to start it the fuse well pop...and no go....

i woulda just ran the alarm wire and the memory wire stright to the battery post lol and make sure with that fuse there the car still shuts off once its running and u turn it
