How hard was it to put on that Air intake I was thinking of putting a 92-00 civic intake , but something about I have to chop off a few inches?? WEll I see you have an AEM intake, how'd that go I mean was it easy to put on and shit and how long did it take you all together?? Thanks guys :stick:

that is a 92 civic (130 of www.nopi.com )aem intake the only thing I did was cut about 4 inches off the filter end with a hack saw then file all the little pieces of metal that were hanging off (do not forget to do that). The install took about 30 min includeing cutting and fitting. Also I had to buy a longer piece of vacume tubing as you can see it was about 30 cents just buy an entire foot about the same size as the old stuff. Buy the entire foot then cut it to length so you do not have to make two trips. The caps for covering the other holes came with the kit and so did two grommets for all those with 86,87 accords and three vacume tubes but us 88-9 guys only have one. All in all the peformance was great and I love the sound of a real k&n filter. I had an apc setup before that I later put on a friends tempo and the AEM totaly out peforems it.

So how much did all that shit cost?? I priced the intake at Autozone for a 92-00 civic for about $40 bucks, how much does the K&N filter cost?? From what you said putting that bad boy on is pretty easy, but does it really make a difference in throttle responce and actual performance?? Well let me know, thanks guys....:super:

you'll probably pay more than 40$ for the K&N alone depending on where you go.
