I've seen others who have the lip, and it doesn't cover their vent holes. Mines covers up the bottom edge of my front vents... how did you mount it lower?

You either use spacers between the lip and the bottom of the bumper(which I didnt)

Or you can use long bolts and make sure it is tight and adjust the bolts to adjust to lips height.

There is about an inch gap between the mounting points of my lip and my bumper and the bolts being long and taught are all that keeps it there and it hasn't moved a bit.

*edit idk if that makes sense let me go take a picture for you.

The tension of how the lip fits holds it in place, it is really hard to move it you have to really push on it.

And that is where it sits, ignore my chipped and royally F***'ed paint gonna fix that soon haha.

I don't have spacers, I just adjusted the bolts to the proper level I wanted the lip at and it hasn't budged.

Spacers. I bought mine off sk8r if I remember right (been a while...) but he has spacers for it to make it set in the right position and allow the bolts to clamp it down tight against a solid surface.

yeah it was me  and yes there nylon spacers, you can pic them up ad any hardware store, along with bolts and nuts. the sizes were a 1 1/4th inch long bolt and a 1/2 inch spacer.... if i remember right the 1 1/4th was kinda tight so you might wana try 1 1/2... also i dont remember how many bolts were used... i wana say 10.. but cant remmber.. mayby ram this will chime in
