I am administrating Japanese Aerodeck user group online and we had first ever aerodeck meeting in Japan on 26th October 2008 in two locations.

But yeah that is an amazing meet. We're lucky to get enough people to a 3geez meet here, let alone a 3geez meet with just ONE model of 3gee. That's super rad!

I am delighted that you guys love it.
There has been several CA Accord meeting in Japan in the past but Aerodeck only meeting never happened for unknown reason - probably Aerodeck wasn't very successful commercially in Japan so not many cars are around.
Most of the owners in this meeting has never seen more than two aerodecks side by side so they were in fact extremely excited and actually one member has started crying when the meeting was over :D

About fog lights, yes for some reason people in East Japan love the fogs but not the guys from the West Japan - funny.
Same as in US, these fogs are very difficult to come by these days in Japan, maybe more than in US.
I think most of these accessories are now in NZ than in Japan, hahaha.

Yes, the last picture is mini-aerodecks - the idea was to held three meetings (East, & West Japan and in UK) simultaneously on the same day and same time but there is only one real aerodeck available (mine) in UK so I had to make up the number with my toys :D

The reason for not having Aerodeck in US is here (http://www.3geez.com/forum/showpost.php?p=431464&postcount=39). I thinks there are still few aerodecks around in Europe, more than in Japan I believe, with left hand.
If you are interested, you can import one from France, Germany, Netherlands, Sweden, Finland, Denmark for example - I know the shipping would be expensive, though.
There are three or four right hander Aerodecks are on sale in good condition in Japan at the moment but they are around $3000 - $4000.

About the condition, yes they are very careful keeping their aerodeck.
Some of them had repainted but most of them are original paint, I think quite few are one owner from new.

I agree, the two tone body colour are quite nice aren't they?
I personally like the changpane gold and dark blue metallic one.

Recent update is restored front air-dam and front koni mod moving spring seat by 20mm upward to change the front height so that front air-dam doesn't get damaged - I know it is idiosynchlatic but some time the beauty is more important than theory :D
I painted the front air-dam in flat black but now am thinking repaint in white but not sure yet.
Otherwise, colt cam tri-flow, ported and bored throttle body, GE adjustable cam gear, SUS exhaust, Eibach Prokit to raise the ride hight a bit and Koni Specials.

Finally two recaros by modifying recaro seat bracket for sedan - don't tell me the shape of backrest are different!

About the bumper shape, strangely enough, for EU market Honda didn't be bothered to export face-lift model but they made minor change mechanically such as big front brake rotor.
It was real shame indeed but I personally like early style bumper so no problem for me.

The one on the left (closer one) is genuine after market Recaro and the other one is from Eunos Roadstar or Miata MX-5.
I have bad back but no money so it is a kind of compromise.

I have two of silver, one gun-metallic, one black and one moss-green as you can see the pic of my UK meeting on my laptop :D
They are German version, EXi. Rear hatch is working but none of other doors will open, just in case!

Man, I didn't even notice that they were different. Did you have them recovered? Or did the patterns happen to match? My MX-5 certainly doesn't have seats quite like those!

I stupidly bought one on the left without thinking too much on ebay. Then I realize it was very difficult to find exact matching single Recaro!
Was thinking about recovering the first one but it cost more than buying one so I just decided to wait.
It took me about one and half year to find one with matching pattern and thought perfect! until I realized that the shape of back rest is different.

If you fancy Recaro, buy as a pair unless you are rich enough to buy brand new from a shop.
Apart from that, I can't complain about the quality of it - it certainly cure my back pain, if you believe or not!
