Scammed for $100

$100NZ netted me this GREAT BUY!!!!
Fuck i cant believe the guy i bought this off let me have it for $100 still.
-has 1/4 a tank of gas
-has 4 months warrant of fitness remaining
-has 9 months of registration(worth like $200nzd if i was to de register it)

Guy asked me if i wanted the plates or not i said yes when i saw the amount of rego on there,

It has a crack in the radiator that caused the engine to overheat and warp the head badly.

but im going to swap its front and rear bumpers onto my car cause they are minter, and the right rear door and ill take the mirrors and chrome trims for millys car and ill de facelift it and facelift millys car

no pics yet but i got the head off after a few hours of swearing FUCK I HATE CARBS
the gasket appears to be a 3 layer metal type, head studs werent hardly even tight, and none of the cyls had compression so im guessing that heads warped by 0.434277 inches

i have an a18a head and gasket to stick on so ill go do that now and hope it runs

i got a free radiator from my mate justin, and then i leaked ATF over his showroom floor gayyyyyy but the new head gasket was supposed to show up today but the courier failed and it got bent in half so im waiting again for one tomorrow. so hope fully then the car will be ready to fix on saturday morning, My mate alex is going to do the rustwork under the rear tail lights for me, I cut out some unrusted pieces from a junkyard car and ill get him to weld them in and ill buy 250ml of paint and paint the areas back to grey so the car will look MINT

i havent paid more then 500 lol my first was 300 2nd was 400 and the hatch was 500 lol and so far ive made my money back lol
i got 270 back for the 300 one and 400 for the 400 lol

Good find for cheap. I'd get rid of that carb & get a weber. More than likely, if you put that carb back on, you'll have nothing but problems with it. At least that's been my luck before I saw the light of day & switched over.

yeah i hate gay carbs. it runs mintly at the moment so im going to hope it keeps running mint till i sell it and for many years after, Its only done 180,000kms so it should be able to keep running.

you smell. and yes they are wheel plates from an EF civic, They also come on NZ new accords. I dont have a m atching set of wheel plates so its 5 stud on one side and 4 stud on the other

found a black wire that connects to the thermostat housing that was not connected, as soon as i hooked tyhat up ..what do you know it idles... and didnt diesel when i turned it off

shes a mint runner now, Uses no oil or water and doesnt miss a beat, Even the auto box is mint and doesnt crunch or change gears badley.

Should go get the rust looked at today and then shes ready to sell to the next lucky owner.

yeah when i got it the rust wasnt really that visable as it was under the paint, i tappet at a little and what do you know larges holes under there. wont get another wof until they are fixed, but alex will do it for me, that and ill buy $30 fo NH502M and paint it and it will look good as new

$1200 NZD we shall see how much interest i get, Not really a good time of the year for selling cars.

Before i took the photos on that auction i cleaned the interior, polished the windows with window cleaner and blinged the chrome, The rear rustwork still has not been painted but i might get onto that tomorrow.

I spent weeks trying figure out that one. Mine was broken but I couldn't see it under the cover. Once I wiggled the wire it purred like a kitten.:uh:
