How in the hell do I get my outside door handle out of my door on an 87 hatch?

can't figure it out and it's just pissing me off :rocket:

Not for sure but you might have to take it out from the inside. I replaced the one on my bro's 92 mx-6 a while ago but cant remember how we did it. Pretty sure that was from inside. Same type of handles too.

remove door panel, peel back the plastic, should be two nuts and the clip for the rod that goes to the lock. only took like 15 min to replace when i did it.

Yeah I got it, had the door panel off and all that stuff I was just afraid to break the clip that held the lock rod to the handle. Yanked on that SOB and it came off lol. Thanks for the replies.
