has any1 had any luck relacing front wheel bearings? i bought 1 a month ago then it started to make noise again so i bought a new1 im guna return the old1, ive been using a hydralic press and ive had nothing but problems! so im guna return both and go to the junk yard... the new bearings cost 65.00 and the whole spinle ass. cost $35! go jy!!!

Good luck finding a j/y spindle with a good bearing though, I'm yet to see one

yeah i never replace wheel bearings, go the full on hub swap :)

That big nut needs to be torqued to at least 135 ft lbs or the bearing won't be preloaded correctly.

wp:wtf: do u mean the axle nut?:chainsaw: i put that on with standind on a cheater bar after i put it on with a air gun!

when you pressed them in you didn't press on the center of the bearings did you? you only press on the outside part of the bearing,if you press on the inside you will deform the bearing cage.
