There's always a b18a from a 2nd gen integra with a TWM (www.twminduction.com) 0110 (http://www.twminduction.com/Catalogs/Catalogs-FR.html) 2x DCOE manifold on it. Its on the cheap side as far as bseries swaps in a 3g go. You'd need the placeraceing b-series mount kit, axles, and shift linkages (I forget what they cost). The manifold with the linkages from twm (you want the linkages and other goodies, they can add if you buy them seperate) runs $475. New the dcoe carbs will run $350 a piece (you need 2), but good condition used ones of e-bay can be had for more reasonable prices. I'm not up on bseries transmissoins, but the cable operated one with the LSD would be a good choice if it will work. B18a's are cheap and plentiful. You also luck out with not having to worry about any computer stuff. Remember you need the b18a with the _NON_ vtec head. Vtec and carbs dont get along very well.

Why is a swap out of the question if he doesn't want to go to EFI?

I am swapping a B20a into my AERODECK. My AERODECK is on a carb now and its staying on a carb when I put the B20a into it.
OK the B20a is a EFI engine originaly but it will run (possibly with more power) when I get round to putting a weber 38/38 onto it.
While I am running it in I am going to either run it on a standard carb (OK it will be lean at high revs) or on a weber but not a 38/38 till its all nice and freed up.

The B20A swap has only 1 problem. the manual transmission availability.

Other than that, it's the best swap for the 3rd gen IMO.
