ok, when I tried to advance the timing on my car. I could not loosen one of the screws because it is behind the vaccum advance. This my be a stupid question, but how do I get to that screw? I can't get the vaccum advance thing off. Thanks for the help, I love this place!

hihi..i got the same problem. DON'T TRY TO LOOSEN THE BOLT WHEN THE ENGINE BAY IS HOT!!!
vise grips might help.
The vacumm advance is held on with a c-clip inside. Take off the cap and rotor and you'll see it. Tht's as far as I went, I couldn't get the c-clip off :D

They come in handy when you're working with a 12pt bolt ;)
