My car was looking pretty good at one point but the exterior no longer looks that good. Im probably going to get a better chassis or just bite the bullet and replace my rear quarter panels and get rid of the rust the hard way. As for the B18 swap you would need PRI Mounts to do that if its the motor im thinking of.

Thanks for the compliment.......And i must say im pleased to see others with some nice B20A swaps.

Hey Rob! I guess Mike's B20A is sort of living on? I know how you feel. My 86 is seriously pretty bad right now. And it's getting harder and harder to find any 3rd gen Accords around here let alone a grey EXi that I can start over on.

Anyways, lots of nice B20's here! I'm happy this site has come a long way since the last time I was more active. I see there has been lots of progress on parts and info on the B20A which is great!

the engine in your car looks 1.11111111 times smaller than all the other B20A's, are you sure it's not a B18A?

Through the vent hole. I made an adapter for it. Takes seconds to rake the vent hose off.

The only problem I have with it now is that oil is comming out of the tube because there's no baffles in the cover.

I'll install a catch can.

Haha

I'm always surprised to see how powerful the B20A is compared to the stock carb A20A. Well, the A20A I have is auto so I guess this doesn't help at all. I have a spare manual B20A here. I may end up swapping the hatchie someday.

I was pretty impressed with my A20a1 after the mods I did, auto box as well so this is very encouraging Carotman... looking at the numbers I will have almost double HP considering this B20 is not goiing to be in stock form either and comparing it to the stock A20 I had to begin with.

The A20 carb with a 5-speed is ok. Its not fast or anything but it does get up and go. Now if I could only swap in my DOHC inline 6 from my BMW into the 3gee.

I thinking of ordering a B20A from new zealand soon, so... before i do i want to ask a few things. Is the B20A an easy fit or do i have to screw with the mounts? should i get rid of my carbed before i do the swap? and can i get one for less than 1,300$?

Hey, is there a thread like this on B18 swap guys? I am a noob and from all the reading I have been doing it looks like the B18 is going to be far more accessable than the proper B20 and I would like to see some of the B18 swaps. Anyone want to start a B18 thread?

the b20a from the accord will of course bolt in aslong as you get the mounts for the engine.
depends on the b18 you are talking about.
theres the b18a from the 3g and the b18c from the teg.
the b18a is little diff to the b20a but the b18c will prob require custom mounts
oh and forest1686, there are 2 or 3 b20a motors and theres also the b20b from the crv and hrv.
the later will require custom mounts but you can stick the head off b18c and b16a on these

Isn't there about 12 different B20A's? There's B20A (two or three different of these) , then there's B20A1, B20A2, B20A3, B20A4, B20A5, B20A6, B20A7, B20A8, B20A9...

is it better to take the transmission that comes with the b18a or b18c or better to use the Y1 or S1 from the 4g civics? I'd like to stay away from the hyrdolic clutch and want to make sure these Y1 and S1 trans's mount to the B18a and B18c's.

People that guy B20A's from me get mounts complete so it will drop straight in to your USDM car. even ur power steer will bolt right on and maybe even air con.

All depends on availability tho

just from what i've seen, i've come across the accord/2g poolude style forward leaning b20a even tho they are slightly diff the gold top will fit in the accord. ask accord b20a.
and there is the 3g poolude backwards leaning b20a.
i havnt come across any others but will prob be proved wrong by someone here.
forrest1686, i just use the b2k5 from the jdm si accord.
aparently some integra gears fit this box and its cable clutch so no hassles there.
but i find the b2k5 ratios are just fine for me.
