fog light problems? please help

well this is what happend i was trying to put on my fog light and as i cut some of the wires no electricity was running threw it no more and if i remember it was the red wires that go to the side markers and because of the wires cut no fog lights work at all and its pissing me off so please help

ok i bought some fogs right ok we got that
i was trying to wire it to my side markers
i cut the wires that connect to the side marker
got late so i left them liing like that over night but im sure the wires didnt touch
next morning no electricity was running threw the red wire but the turnsignals work fine jus not the stock fog light
and now ive bein trying to find out wat its s and i cant find it
all the fuses are fine i checked every single one and i still cant find the problem
and help

on my accord the side markers blink with the turn signals...

my bad i jus realized its not the side markers its the corner light my bad i wasent really thinking so yea still need help

I'm still not sure I understand. The fogs don't work, but the corners do? If so, you didn't get your fogs correctly.

okay okay haha let me start over
I get things switched around alot haha

okay so I bought a set of fog lights that I was gonna put in on my 87 accord lxi
and I have a friend that connected his useing his foglight wires and it worked fine
but what I did was that I messed up and cut the fog light wires and tried to connect them on my new fog lights but they didnt turn on

so I gave up on that and connected the wires back to my corner fog lights
and when I tried to turn them on
they didnt
but my turn signals worked?
and now at night when I turn on my fog lights none turn on
even my tail lights dont turn on
only when I press the brake?

any help anyone?

What fog light wires are you talking about? These cars do not have any fog light wires. What you should do is run a relay that will turn the fog lights on. Its very easy to do and you do not need to cut the stock wiring. So whatever stock wiring you but, connect it back correctly. Check the fuses under the hood and under the dash.

Well its not called a fog light. That is because it doesn't emit any light on the road. It is called a side marker. Rear my previous post and report back.

replace the bulbs.. might be blown
