View Full Version : Help with new alarm install
Hey all
Lately I have been making a few modifications to my car. I added a nice system to it, and now want to add an alarm. I picked up a remote start/keyless entry alarm off ebay a week ago, and have been searching all over for a wiring diagram for the car. I searched here and found this post

But it's for a 86+ accord. I have a 85Sei and there is nothing behing the drivers kick panel for one. So Im kinda stuck to say the least.
Just wondering if anyone has this same information that would directly apply to my 85?
Thanks in advance guys!

ummm there should be something begine the drivers kick panel if not you car has no ignition harness lol
LOL- The car is garaged. I just want the alarm for when I'm out and about.
1985 Accord Sei is the car I have. There is nothing behind the kick panel. However ther is a panel behind the fuse panel that the ignition harness plugs into, maybe thats what they mean....?
any actual help on this issue out there?

What is the issue exactly? Are you looking for a wiring diagram? Nobody has any scanned online or posted yet. Pick up a 1985 Factory Service Manual off eBay they usually go for about $20. Well worth it if you ever wanna work on your car. You're probably the only person here with an SE-i who is posting right now... so this is the best we can do.. Good luck and let us know how it goes!
