:jaw: haha.

i have a winch mounted at the top of my garage to pick up my race quad and stuff like that and it lifted 1000 pounds max. someone told me that engine weighs about 1000 pounds. I highly doubt it tho. lol

i took one out of an 88 and it was not that heavy at all id say at most 200 lbs but i also didnt have the head or manifolds on. just internals in the block itself

well ok then. i believe im taking it out tomorrow. a friend from maryland is coming to live with me for a while next month and this dude is straight crazy. he can make just about anything. so hes gonna make me some mounts. and ill have all of my wiring junk around next month aswell.

Do you think i can make the p/s work with the b series or should i just get rid of it?

btw im thinking of going B20/vtec insted of ls/vtec. if i go b20 it will be a high comp build. if i got ls it will be turbo.

Even with both manifolds, the transmission, and just about anything else that you could leave attached to the engine, you'd still be well below 1000 lb.

no way it is under 300lbs

it took my self my dad and my one eye mechanic friend to lift an a20 from ground level onto an engine stand

agree
I yanked both out at the same time and it was not heavy at all, I can move it around on the floor easy. B20 seemed a bit lighter but more mass.
edit= lighter than a harley

Power steering, you should be able to keep as long as your original HP line fitting & line reaches the pump ok.
