Well i found al the original papers from my car when i was cleaning it out to sell today. They were stuffed up in the dash for some reason. I found the owners manual, warranties book, build sheet and window sticker.

well anyway the freaking a/c was $995
The am/fm cassette radio was $679!!
paint sealant, undercoating, and fabric protection was $347
mats, mud guards, edge guards trim and alloy wheels were $439

I laughed when i saw it. Its pretty cool that i found the original papers. I thought the car was from florida but it was bought brand new 9 miles from my house. lol

yeah those are dealer prices and are going to be specific for your area... here in arizona dealer add-on ac was around 1400 in 1984 for my dad's 85 accord hatch. talk about rip off... they know here people will buy it no matter what if it doesn't come with it.

I just pulled out and looked at the purchase contract I signed on 7/22/1989 when I bought the car, $16,740 including all the dealer fees. The window sicker says $16,145. As it turns out, some of the best dollars I have ever spent on, or ever will spend on a vehicle.

Edit: And all my stuff, except for the stock radio, still works!
