If you're thinking about doing some sort of EFI swap onto this car, you will need a Vehicle Speed Sensor signal. The 2nd gens with cruise control have a VSS built into the speedometer cluster. If you don't have cruise, it's unknown if you will have a VSS or not.
Tapping it is as easy as crimping a ring terminal onto some wire, and screwing it on the appropriate screw on the back of the gauge cluster. Honda had two different suppliers for gauge clusters, and they're drastically different. Parts will not interchange between the clusters. Below are pictures showing where to connect your ring terminal for both sets of gauges.
