i am getting a catback exhaust when my car gets out of the shop from getting the engine replaced. i was wondering if you all had any suggestions for pipe diameter and type of muffler. i am thinking 2.5 inch piping into an apexi n1 muffler or an hks universal hi - power muffler. any suggestions? any would be much appreciated, thanks!

If I had to do it all over again I would still get the 2.5 but I would get the N1 instead of the muffler I have now..

Do not get the weapon r intake get a 92 civic one and cut 3 inches off the filter end it will work. it is also anywere from 40 to 130 bucks cheeper. Alot of people here recomend a 2.25 mandrel bent catback with a dynomax muffler unless you are going to get things like a cam regrinding or other means of induction.

yeah when it gets out of the shop it will have the performance package from gude which is a ported intake, a reground cam, high velocity throttle body and high compression cylinder head (11.1:1) would that change anything in terms of piping diameter? i guess if its tunning faster more exhaust will need to get out so would a 2.5 work better than a 2.25? and i think i will proly still go with either apex n1 or the hks
