Does anyone know if these fit the Accord?? I'm looking at a parts vendor says they do.
If they fit, we have a straight fit all aluminum radiator.

Numbers are not matching up thru Honda website, so unless someone does an actual fitment, its up in the air.

Would it be possible to get more details from this guy?

Well, I have an alu radiator for my car. Why do you need to check the compatibility between the 2?

Well according to most suppliers a B20A 2nd gen rad is the same as a 3G accord but i know that ain't true!! Or is it?? Picture that they give seems way different to whats in my car?

Is yours all aluminum?
JVTRacing makes an all aluminum radiator for the 3rd gen prelude, so if the lude radiator fit our accord we wont have to custom fit integra or civic half radiators.
I admit that the finish of the JVTR radiator looks horrible though.

What I've been looking at says that the 2g B20A lude, 3g lude and 3g accord all shares the same radiator.

Ah... this is a sexy rad. All aluminium including the tanks. The one I have is an alu core and plastic tanks.

It looks pretty damn similar to our rads.

The web site lists the same dimensions as Honda dose for a rad for my 89 coupe.

it looks very similar to a stock one in terms of mounting points. I had to move the lower mounting brackets to fit my 90-93 integra radiator.

I had to make all new lower brackets, cut a lot of the upper rad support bracket and make a bracket for the top support to fit a civic half rad all aluminum. And it barely clears the hood.

Now I have to decide whether I should leave the radiator mounts stock and hope for the lude radiator to fit or to buy an integra radiator and then move the mounts before going to paint..
Aaaaarrrrrrh

Did you have to modify the upper mount tabs on your integra radiator?

Hmm whats wrong with the finish looks really nicely made!! Neat welds etc. And definately that would not fit a 2nd gen B20A they are all wrong on that!! Would have to imagine what would turn up if i ordered one of these rads for my car!! Oh well at least you guys have some options for performance rads!! I've allways found that having the original copper cored with larger core does the job nicely!!

how much is that thing? :omg: beautiful piece of radiator there. of course it would require some AN fittings TIG welded on so i could go ALL braided hose.

I think the welds look rather ugly and inconsistant to me and the design is a bit crude. Look at the pics here: lude radiator on ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/_Car-Truck-Parts-Accessories__JVT-Racing-Honda-Prelude-87-91-2-Rows-Aluminum-Radiator_W0QQitemZ290287188386QQadiZ2865QQadnZCarQ 20Q26Q20TruckQ20PartsQ20Q26Q20AccessoriesQQcmdZVie wItemQQptZMotors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash= item290287188386&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245&_trkparms=72%3A727%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318 )

Nevertheless if it fits that's one more option open to us.

And as far as efficiency goes your stock copper radiator is probably just as good or maybe even better than an all aluminum unless you get a really thick aluminum one.

The reason for me to want an aluminum radiator is that it looks 10 times better. (in my opinion)

JVTR lists it at $180. It's on ebay at $200 shipped.

the upper mounting tabs do not get used. I had to cut an "L" bracket to mount the top of the radiator support and radiator.

thats all it takes to mount the teg radiator? thats nothing. what about the fans?

I think I'm going to stick with my stock radiator mounts and hope for that prelude radiator to fit. I feel it's going to be too much trouble going with the integra radiator in case I have to replace it one day.

No, you also have to reposition the lower radiator mounts to a lower position. Meaning drilling out the spot welds and weld them back on.

guaynabo89 rewelded the upper tabs on his teg radiator to make them work with the stock upper rad mounts.

I retract that statement..
AccordB20A has tried using a lude rad in the past, and said it didnt fit.
And after looking at my accord tonight and the radiator JVTR makes it's become obvious that the upper mounting tabs on the lude radiator are narrower spaced than our accord radiator.
I think it's just a question of cutting off those tabs and weld them back on at the correct location to make it fit though.
