88 or 89 Special Edition DX?

What the heck is this? I went to the junk yard on Wed. with one of my friends. We came across this DX Laurel blue Accord that said "Special Edition" Accord. The only thing that looked special about it to me was the body colored bumpers, front and back. Didn't have power anything. Was this like the Value Package Accord back then or what? Just curious. :)

Check under the hood. If it's the same thing as any ordinary DX, I'd say you discovered a marketing scheme lol.

Probalby some one had it painted and then slaped some se badges on it. Could have been a dealer trying to milk more money out of the car... the next step up from pin stripes..., or someone who bought some se stickers at autozone.

I had so much fun! It was so neat. I could have stayed there ALL DAY, but I had to be at work for 5, plus it was HOT!! :burn: It was my first time going. I had to find SOMEONE to go with me. I wasn't about to go alone with that serial killer on the lose. My friend Tina ended up going with me. She's trying to fix up her 96 Eclipse. We just looked around, didn't buy anything.

When I saw all those 3geezes, I was runing to them! I was SO excited.

The guys who were in charge of the junk yard let us free! :) It would've been $3 per person!

I can't wait to go again! Going next weekend probably!
